CHENGDOO citylife Magazine is a homegrown, independent magazine created by a small group of foreigners and locals working together to provide an English-language platform for the Chengdu community. The magazine is produced entirely in Chengdu by natives and long-term residents of the city. We provide a space to support the arts and music scene as well as community and corporate events. Additionally, in conjunction with www.chengdoo.com, we are simply a means of old-fashioned networking through profiles of Chengdu's people to know and places to go as well as our constantly updated events and classifieds listings (free for individuals). SLOPPY SECONDS: Your Secondhand Life Secondhand Market Returns for Round Two!

With the success of Your Secondhand Life, we're coming back for more.
The first x-change was a one-of-a-kind event in Chengdu that saw plenty of shoppers coming in to browse the large collection of goods, enjoy the live music performances, or just sit down and enjoy a drink and chat with friends. Clothing is priced from RMB5 to RMB80, and this market will offer plenty of spring and summer wear in all styles and sizes for the hot weather to come. Also available are books, shoes, household goods, etc.

The market starts at 2 p.m. (no early birds, please) and will go until the sun goes down.

If you're interested in selling goods (we particularly want to invite crafters, bakers, sewers, and artisans of any nature, but will consider providing space for vendors with other merchandise), or performing at the market, or if you have any secondhand goods to donate, please contact jane @ 13540708232 or voodikon@yahoo.com.
